Sleep Apnea - Downtown Chicago
Sleep Apnea
At MG Dentistry we are here to get you and your bed partner a more restful sleep! Snoring can often be treated with an oral appliance that will serve 2 functions: protecting your teeth and minimizing your snoring!
Additionally, snoring can be a risk factor for a more serious problem like Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). This is an issue that involves coordinating care with a sleep physician who can determine your best treatment options. OSA is classified as either mild, moderate, or severe. Often times if you have mild or moderate sleep apnea, oral appliances can be used as a first line treatment option.
A lot of patients prefer an oral appliance to the bulky and uncomfortable CPAP machines. At our office we do a full evaluation to ensure we tailor pick the correct device for you. With over 100 FDA approved oral appliances on the market; we want to be sure we get you an appliance that will work for you!
